Was telegraphed pretty hard leading up to it, I was hoping they wouldn't go through with it though. I don't understand why he stopped to admire her instead of keep running and push her out the door.

Yeah they really dragged that out but it still made us upset. Once they showed he left the gun, he was done for sure.

In an interview, Astin said that thought Bob's death was a good one. It would have been a good death if he didn't do a stop & stare at goddamn Joyce in the middle of the lobby. If he just kept on running and got tackled then.

Standing there, though, when he could have gotten away. God fucking dammit.

Fun tidbit, though. In earlier drafts of the script, Will was going to get taken over a lot sooner, in episode 4. Which was also going to be the episode where Bob was first going to die. Yep. They were going to have Flayer Will kill Bob.

Them turning mindy kaling into a teen was visually impressive

Exactly. If he was caught while getting her out and shoved her to safety it would've been a great death. As it is now, just kind of leaves a bad taste at how dumb he was at that part.

Also, I like that Joyce stood in the lobby just fine for like 10 minutes, but he stops for 2 seconds and they get him. >_>

I thought of that, then realized he made a hell of a racket from running and slamming doors. He practically rang the dinner bell.
