I enjoyed the Goku vs. Kale/Caulifla fight. But it just felt like a regular battle, not like a "the whole universe depends on this" battle.

I don't like the name for their fusion. I also don't like that base Kefla can go toe-to-toe with a SSG Goku.

And judging by next week's title (which can be deceiving) they defeat SSB Goku.

Although speaking of movers Goku has never used/only used early.

Today was the first time Goku ever used the Soikidan in canon.

And the first time since Dragonball around the 22nd tournament he used a foot ki blast. And the first time wearing boots during it.

I feel the saiyan girls should be disqualified for using an item, but this probably falls under the episode 105 mafuba bottle rule of "it's neat, so it's safe"

That Goku was SSJB and Berserk Kale walked though his kamehameha.

This Goku after being weakened fought Berserk Kale and SSJ2 Caulifla at the same time, in SSJ2, and absolutely smashed them as SSJG. ( leagues weaker than Blue)

So Goku was hurt and in a form that is trahs compares to Blue.

Explain how he wasn't holding back...

Okay I don't hate Kale and Caulifla as much as some people do but

it is ABSOLUTE TRASH that we have to watch Goku fight them TWICE now while Vegeta vs. Toppo, a legitimately interesting fight, is relegated to brief check ins. Like, the sheer disrespect that Vegeta has been getting in this tournament. If he doesn't get his moment here I will be livid.

Also the argument that Goku was holding back the first time he fought Kale is coz he could've been saving energy for Jiren, and he didn't actually believe Kale could be THAT strong.

Like okay, I get it, we had to get to the fusion to either establish that it was on the table for Goku and Vegeta to do at some point, or just to make things more interesting but

Why can't we be getting to Vegeta/Toppo while Goku/U6 Saiyans gets the brief check ins?

Only some types of items are banned. Specifically weapons and healing items are not allowed. As a result, Potara Earrings are safe.

That's fair. But he's gone SSJ2 a lot this series, and this was the first time I thought he looked like he did when against Majin Vegeta SSJ2, and Fat Buu and Kid Buu.

bland is like, Cabba. he was treated like a completely generic nobody character while Cauli is a strong, fun, energetic and highly competent fighter.
