i had a huge sense of pride saving up for my epic mount riding and mounts!!

But I bought my mount before I bought riding (black war raptor) when it was pricy mounts and cheap riding. And as I saved up they changed the riding cost to be high and the mount to be low.

I have never played WoW, I didn't have a good pc when it came out and then they added like a dozen expansions and I kinda just forgone it.

Perhaps I will try this vanilla servers.

I would like either different servers that stops at each expansion, or else a vanilla server that will be cycled through the expansions.

I've now levelled twice to warlonds of draenor and enjoyed every second up to that point only to hit complete boredom once I got there. anything pre WoD is great.

also having real talents again would be great.

That took long enough to happen. It only took a number of fans making their own Vanilla server, and getting a Cease and Desist, for Acti-Blizz to realize that maybe, just maybe, there actually is a demand for Vanilla that warrants developing a server of their own.

This reminds me, also, of AM2R. That was in development for ten years and even had periodic demos that were released for people to try out. Nintendo basically waited until a day or two after full release to take legal action--still an unpopular move compared to what they COULD have done and chose, instead, to go full-on towards their legal right--and then, nine to ten months later, announced their own remake... that Nintendo handed to a third party... one responsible for the "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" trilogy and actually pitched a Fusion remake. So, you know, Nintendo took the roundabout way of getting their fans a proper Metroid game, even one that's a remake.

I'd rather have a WofLK server, that was the peak for me.

I knew blizzard was going to shit out some revamp/rerelease of one of their games but this is taking laziness to a whole new level.
I'm mad that such a stupid idea will make them zillions of dollars.

I would say this is the least lazy way of rehashing something, the amount of work it will take to get them up and running is alot compared to remaking like Warcraft I or II

I worked for EB Games when WoW launched and all everyone did was bitch about it and try to return it... I can't speak for everywhere, but here people didn't seem keen on that version for some time (though this could be because a lot of people didn't even understand what an MMO was and just saw "Warcraft").

I think they waited until am2r was actually released so that people could actually play it. Once it's out there on the internet, it will stay they.

I think they did people a favor waiting until it was released. Nintendo basically had to shut they game down or they could have lost their Metroid property

Except, part of it was the approach of AM2R's developers. They didn't come to Nintendo for a blessing once things were starting to look good and ready to go, but the team behind Samus's Return did. *shrugs*

samus returns is good though and am2r is easy to find if you want to play it. are u really gonna complain that you got two games instead of one
