Former Dantezoid public enemy #1 Wiegraf has been one of the more successful Tactics characters. He has six top 25 finishes, including one top 10 in CXI. However, he hasn't had one since then, although he's come close a few times. Wiegraf's boot two years ago dropped him out of being the highest ranked FFT character, but this performance accompanied by Agrias's boot has given him the title back. Wiegraf increases from 52.29% to 53.20%, passing Gaius, Agrias, and Porom for 39th place overall.

That hard boot hurts Wiegraf's New Era STATS, but they don't lag that far behind his overall numbers now thanks to this finish. There, he jumps from 44.87% to 49.10%, passing 12 characters to go from 60th to 48th place. In the Old Era, Wiegraf was at 55.26%, good for 34th place between fellow villains Sephiroth and Dr. Cid.

I actually would not mind 100% Leonhart field once just for a change of pace, even if it would mean a lot of characters I like would be out because the man has some questionable tastes at times.

Saving the best of Leonhart's favorites might actually have me saving Squall pretty often.

Hmm...Like I said a couple of topics ago, I haven't come up with a top 100 FF character list since before FFXIII came out, so it'd probably take me a while to produce a list. I guess I could give it a thought just for fun.

plus it could double as a rankings project for me and I could do writeups and reveal where they'd rank on my personal list after each elimination and cross-compare with where they were eliminated and everything

Honestly that kinda sounds like a fun spinoff to SMFFFC, or a way to change it up over time if people got tired of the formula

Every contest, a different regular participant makes a list of their top 100 FF characters. A champion is chosen from that list of 100.

In some ways, that would be a more true representation of the title.
