PikachuMaxwell 11/02/17 7:14:17 PM #1:	I was on the Internet when Melee was released, just not GameFAQs, but rather IGN. It was pretty cool waiting for that game to come out with all the crazy character and content expectations. Melee was cool and a lot of fun but I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the roster when it was finally revealed (I wished there was a cooler Pokemon to represent Gold/Silver other than Pichu, for example. Had various screenshots as PC wallpapers like that one with Mario, Bowser and Peach at the castle. Also one with a group of Pokmon, one of which feautring Snorlax and excitedly showing a friend "Look at the graphics on the Pokmon!". Going from scratchy 2D sprites to fully 3D models was just mindblowing. Brawl hyped me so much more though. That god damn Dojo... Set myself up for a bit of a fall there. I really liked Brawl but I have never been more hyped for a game, I don't think anything could have lived up to that level of expectation.
