No joke one year I was black for halloween as a teenager.
Like black as in the color. I wore all black clothing and painted all my visible skin charcoal black. I thought it was awesome. At the time I had never heard of blackface at all. At the time I was friends with a black dude from my D&D group. He pulled me aside and had a conversation with me.
