The 60 y/o relaunched his daytime show when his show was set to be cancelled when the host refused to sign his contract since he wasn't getting a raise and it wasn't getting moved to Los Angeles. His show was retitled to Steve and it was retooled on Setember 5th..but ratings and reviews of the show have been unimpressive as the poor numbers were a reflection of the fallout he got from the Black Audience that disapproved of his meeting with Trump. Now Harvey says "Meeting with Donald Trump was the worst mistake of my life" A source said "People just hate the show. He wanted to do a late night feel for the show but he's on a big stage with a desk and a lot of open space and nothing about the show is engaging for war. People just aren't into it at all" His daytime tlak show was a 2.2 in 2012 but after a revamp this fall, it debuted to a 1.8 and then a 1.4 as it kept tumbling..it's even getting beat by Wendy Williams and he's neck in neck with Jerry Springer and Rachael Ray He faced huge backlash from his fans when he met Trump in January as African Americans were outraged by images of him being chummy with then President Elect and many called for boycotts He faced scandals before from divorces to the Miss Universe Pageant and the Asian joke gone bad..but never faced the wrath of his core audience, middle aged african americans. He was too arrogant to realize the weight of his mistake and never made amends Family Feud and Little Big Shots dropped by almost half since that meeting and it wasn't until the revamped show that Harvey acknowledged that big Trump error. . I hate Steve Harvey and I'm glad to see his shows failing, but this is so stupid. He met with Trump to try and help his people and they hate him for it because Trump is a POS. Wrong reason to hate this horrible person.
