The only "insult" I threw was identical to the one thrown at me: "your moronic statement." Responding in kind is perfectly appropriate in this situation.

Bottom line: the animated sprites clearly show Mario's fist either connect or overlap with Yoshi's head. Since an interview was apparently necessary to clear this up, obviously plenty of people misunderstood. I'll happily admit I was wrong on the developers' intent, but it always has and always will look like he's punching Yoshi to me. Sorry if that upsets you two badly enough to flame people over.

The bottom line is that you are objectively wrong no matter how you look at it, shitposter. In the animated sprites they're acting simultaneously. Nowhere in reality is there punching. You clearly don't live in reality which is ironic as your gimmick is to say your shitty and ignorant opinions are objective.

And where is Mario saying Go either? There is no "go" in-game. I actually think he's referring to a piece of artwork that initially was planned to have "bop" but the final release had "go". The sound effect in-game is Yoshi licking.

The things that are stated in these articles is that the initial rough sketches were about hitting and that it was later changed to pointing and saying go (which was shown in official artwork at release). There was nothing about changing it after the animation was complete which is something you pulled out your ass like most of your moronic claims. Bottom line, ingame, there is no punching. Word of God says no punching. Only in the beta and planning stages were there ideas for punching. You are objectively wrong in all instances here, like you usually are.

The preceding paragraph you keep quoting is a reference to a pre-production sketch. The paragraph quoted above is talking about what's actually in the game. Sprite artists refer to sprite creation as "drawing." These are separate paragraphs discussing different phases in the development process.
