Here's what I'm thinking. If you're well-off enough to own smart locks and other smart devices, you're well-off enough to have home or renters insurance, and you're well-off enough to have cameras in your home as a deterrent and means of getting your stuff back/satisfying an insurance claim. I don't see people who don't have other safeguards in place being the target audience for this kind of thing.
