The WWE style of work is to make absolutely sure that their entire fanbase is fully aware of everything that's happening in the story. If they were working here, they'd be producing content going out of its way to paint Zayn and Owens as crazy, selfish, unprofessional loose cannons that had to be sent away because their behavior was becoming too dangerous to the brand and the company.
