Poll of the Day > So I was thinking about selling my old Pokemon cards to a game shop.

I was just pulling a few I thought might be worth something and happened to look up this Kabutops card (Kabutops 150/144 from Skyridge) that I've always liked, and it turns it's one of the rarest cards ever made and it's worth an average of like $80 alone. Lordy, I'm glad I held on to these things as long as I did.

Selling to a shop won't give you close what you think the cards are worth because, if anything, that'd be the prices the shop sells them for... and it likely wouldn't sell for that much, either. Good luck all the same, though.

I'd probably take like 40 for it, but if I get lowballed it looks like this website lets you sell stuff to them and they'd give me 77.

Nah, I meant for that one card. I'm really just bringing a few for now to test the waters. I probably have a couple hundred foil cards from my youth that I'm looking to bring in if it's worth it.

I have a binder with a complete base set with a few 1st editions, and a binder with the complete fossil set with many 1st editions.

Last time I looked it up I would be able to sell it for about $400
