I accidentally bricked my NES classic a week ago, so my attention went to unbricking it for a few days, then a friend of mine paid me to Mod his SNES classic. So this took about 4 days of my free time

My fucking god damn playthrough topic purged within ONE FUCKING DAY of me not posting in it

god I fucking hate the purge here. @sballen do something about this!

anyways. After working 3 ten hour days in a row, I have some free time again.

I last left off at the Wedding scene. Yuna ran off into the Cloister trial by herself and now we're trying to catch up to her.

Here are somethings of note That I've done:

A b8er informed me that after I discovered Jecht's sphere in that crystal lake, they appeared all over the world and if I wanted to, I could backtrack on foot ALL OF THE WAY BACK TO BESAID and collect them. And I did just that. I think I have like 8 of them.

I believe I got all of the missable Al Bhed Primers. I missed some regular ones though. b8ers claim they're easy to see but I beg to differ, they haven't played this game for the first time lately! (CAUSE THEY CAN"T). The books are a very dull brown color, they're sometimes just randomly in the background, they don't sparkle or stand out in anyway, and they're small as hell.

I found a method of grinding Tidus' limit break. I gave him the Loner overdrive thing, I have the other party members run from battle, and then I start building the limit gauge by just blocking. Also it helps if I fight a big monster with lots of HP. I was able to get at least 5 limit breaks off per fight. So Tidus has is last one now

Also, Lulu seems to be on top of my affection list. as she should be.

Also Everybody hates Kimhari. I made him learn steal, made him learn haste, and hes currently going through Auron's grid to gain some muscle

Apparently I'm pretty good at the lightning dodging! I just can't really deal with popping in and out of battles while I'm doing it. I think once I get a no Encounter armor, I can do it no problem.

I completed the a butterfly mini game, but I was informed I was supposed to do this end game. Some b8ers said they hated this game but I dunno, it was easy for me >_>

aaand I think thats all I can think of at the moment. I'm about to start it up

I already forgot how annoying Cloister trials are

especially the pressure of finding the Destruction Sphere

ESPECIALLY since you have no idea if you stepping into the next room will end the trial or not

Rather, you literally can't miss the one you need for later on. There's another treasure chest at the end you can get if you have a Bevelle sphere, but it's not the one you need.

Lulu is usually at the top of the affection meter for most people's playthroughs because

1) Shes always in your party (you get Rikku late and Yuna leaves a few times)
2) Shes closer to you after cutscenes, since a major role of her's is to explain spira. First people you talk to I believe effects affection.

It does. The order you talk to your party members determines affection points distributed.

Also, I think casting beneficial spells or using items (as Tidus) on them gives affection points.

There's a big symbol that pops out of the treasure chest you need in each Cloister, but yeah, FFX was surprisingly generous in making sure you couldn't miss the Bevelle treasure because you can't come back to this temple later.

Long story short, for those of you that are new
I had to rush through this game in a week because I wasted most of my month time limit playing blitzball. So I don't know alot of the story. And thats one thing I always remembered that I didn't recall being answered, who the fuck was this kid in the beginning of the game

I don't remember Yuna praying to him at all!

While I've been increasingly disappointed with each treasure, I've still been making sure I get them before I leave each Cloister

they really started strong with that staff for Yuna (which I'm still using!)

but they haven't gotten much better than that

Also, when you get to the endgame, you can go into the Chamber of the Fayth of each temple and talk to all of the Fayths. Some of the chambers have treasure chests in them, too, but I don't remember any of them being anything special.

I don't think anybody really hates Kimahri as a character. He's pretty useless in battle though because he doesn't really do anything better than anyone else.

no. I usually have everyone at overdrive ready incase of an emergency. I burned all of them before he could pull his breath bullshit again
