Packaged was ordered off of Amazon and delivered by Amazon

I was out running errands and got the notification on my phone that my package was delivered. I am home about 20 minutes after receiving the notification with no package to be seen. I live in a house. Not sure if the delivery driver delivered to the wrong location or if my package was stolen.

How do I report this and what are peoples experiences dealing with Amazon and this type of thing?

Never had it happen, but every thread I've seen was a smooth experience, they called and it got re-shipped.

Any idea how I contact them? Can't find a phone number or email anywhere off my order page.

The first piece of advice is "wait two days". The post office is really bad about marking things as "delivered" when it's actually "loaded into the little truck" or "in the back of the post office" or "lol, I dunno".

It was Amazon themselves that delivered this though. I've had USPS deliver many packages in the past and never received a false notification.

It can happen, some drivers are just lazy and mark shit delivered to cover their asses.

Maybe give it a few days, and if it doesn't show up report it missing. If they ask why you waited so long to report it, tell them you wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt.

The problem is I'm on vacation from work and ordered some movies to watch with my time off. I'm not at all willing to wait.

I recently ordered air filters from Amazon and had it marked delivered with no package to be seen

sent them an email and let them know I searched and asked the landlord and whatnot to no avail
they responded within the hour and sent out another with next day shipping
