We did a workshop thing where we traded and revised papers with each other a lot and now the only complaints I have on mine are super nitpicky and it's hard to add anything because it's already at six pages which is the max but if I don't do much then it will look like I didn't try very hard to improve the paper

I doubt that'll fly. If TC turned in that paper as the final copy, they'd lose points for it being too similar to the rough draft.

your grade should be based on the improvements that we're needed. do those, and you're fine. "not being different enough from the first draft" is not a valid reason to dock your grade.

You should have made every 3rd sentence a run on, never used commas, etc to make them go through and mark all that little shit. Meanwhile you have the original saved and ready to print out and turn in.

In high school my rough draft and final copy were always word for word the same. I always wrote it perfect the first time. I understand the reasons for a rough draft, I just never subscribed to that method.

what you should have done is make the first draft just one long run on sentence that never stops so that you can improve the rough draft so much that the teacher will have to give you top marks and so that you get the best score in the world and then you go on and get the girl and live a life of happiness and pure prosperity and then wake up from the dream and find out you're late to class and missed turning in the homework assignment and so then you're failing the class and never get to become a super soldier and then you actually become a super villain so then you try to take over the world in order to bring order to the madness but then you wake up again and find that you can barely make it to class but you don't have time to change so you have to show up in bunny slippers
