I did. Didn't I say that earlier?

I wanted to absolutely annihilate the drifters instead of continuing on

Interestingly, I got an option to return to the beginning AFTER I was left to dismantle myself and bricked the game

This game is very relaxing. I think I have an excuse to learn HTML and JavaScript now. It seems like an easy project.

Apparently I fucked myself. I left this thing running since I had it on my work comp, now I have all these drifters that just immediately annihilate any drones I send out and I don't have enough memory for the combat mod.

I don't know how to restart the game either (without deleting my cookies I assume).

Set most of your points to self replication and then a few to speed, exploration, and Harvester drones. Sooner or later, you'll have enough drones to Think for you, and you'll get everythig you need. Just gonna take a little time.

Download an auto clicker and set it over the button to launch your thingies

Yeah I think it was bugged or something. It wasn't doing anything until I cycled through each of the options a few times and refreshed the page. Eventually I got the thing that let me reset my swarm or whatever.

I still can't seem to win these battles though. I don't lose, but I guess I can't kill them all. Are the probes supposed to replicate in the battle? Cause all I ever see is one. Now I'm just grinding my way for more honor so I can actually win these fucks.

I just now realized that the drifters are the probes you lose to value drift.

Well the total of the Drifters Killed and Drifters seems to consistently match my Lost to value drift total.

Edit: Also makes sense as you read the messages at the end when they refer to themselves as "your noisy children"

You can ignore the levels of processors and stuff... they were nowhere near that high before I realized I had infinite gifts so I bought a ton of crap <_<

and now it seems even more totally borked. it is frozen within the end of a combat instance and nothing is updating or changing and it won't move on past that one combat screen with all my white dudes who won the fight just bouncing around forever

My second play through looks like it will take roughly half as long as my first.

I still messed up leading up to drones. This time around I had plenty of operations, but I didn't have nearly has much money so it took a while to get up to the 100 Trust to launch the drones.

I realized I undervalued Quantum Computing. In my first game since I was short on Operations I mostly used Quantum Computing to exceed my maximum value and try to get things ahead of time. I overlooked its usefulness in refilling your Operations when your Processor count is still low.

Quantum is so useful for filling the OPs. Time it right and you can fill, buy, run a sim, and get it back full again (until your memory is really high)

Even then yeah it's really really useful early and even pretty late on.

Since my game broke, I'm doing it again on a different computer that might not go bork

I'm also not buying any of the yomi strategies just to see if it helps... because on my other computer the yomi rounds and finishing a tournament took FOREVER so maybe if I just have random it will go faster

I was just wondering if that would work, or if they were a pre-req for some of the later upgrades for the Yomi payouts.

your yomi payout is really small without the extra strats.

Just don't buy that upgrade that doubles the time for double the yomi?

Is it double the time? I thought it doubled the operation cost.

Man, this last part is dragging on this time. I've already done all my projects so there is nothing to do but wait for my drones to consume the universe.

not buying any new strategys = best. idea. ever.

once you get to space, you can buy the project for 175,000 creativity that gives you a 20k yomi bonus if the choice you chose wins the tournament... and with only random, you always get the 20k bonus and the tournament is finished after 1 round so near instantly every time

time to see exactly how the space part of the game is supposed to go without the stupid game breaking on me like last time

Anyone know what unlocks the Quantum Computing project? I'm on my third time through and it feels like it should have shown up by now.

Edit: Weird. I've got all the big ticket trust projects that lead up to the drones but I still haven't unlocked Quantum Computing.

I don't know for sure, but I think it's creativity. Gotta let it build up for a while or something.
