Im on mobile on the road so I cant link to stuff right now but there are hundreds of videos from the sheriff talking about how they were looking into the guy being radicalized, meaning they found material suggesting as much. Law enforcement doesnt look into radicalization for no reason.

Antifa are awful, not as awful as nazis on the global scale, but probably more immediately dangerous to people in their vicinity

In Charlottesville the nazis ran over and murdered a woman, and assaulted a black man in a parking deck. The nazis literally want white power and genocide.

Yet we still see "both are bad but antifa is more dangerous" when they are only a danger to nazis and fascists and nazis kill and assault people around them at their gatherings.

NO ONE thinks the people you consider Antifa are "good guys" (I'm referring to the more violent and radical elements that throw bricks and destroy property, not EVERYONE who is anti-fascist and otherwise peaceful).

The problem is the equalizing of opposing ideologies, which turns everything into a partisan issue. Because if both sides are equally bad, it's easy for people to decide that ONE side is of more immediate concern than the other, base on what could impact them personally. That turns it from "they're both bad" to "this one is worse", even if the initial "they're both bad" narrative was unfounded in the first place.

The other thing is, no matter HOW bad Antifa is, no one in a position of power is actually helping them in their goals. There aren't Antifa politicians creating Antifa policy and refusing to condemn them. There ARE plenty of people in power willing to turn a blind eye to Nazis and white supremacists though. A man who won't hesitate to call out a terrorist in France that was captured before doing any harm, took several days before commenting on white supremacists murdering an American citizen, and he made sure to condemn them as lightly as possible.
