Welcome to the 2017 Horror Icons tournament, Every few years I try to do this in October because I've spent my life loving horror and well, what better time to do these during the Halloween season.
Rules: 1. You can vote in as many of the daily matches as you want. 2. Matches will last 24 hours and will usually start around midnight EST. I may start a day earlier if work interferes with my sleep, but matches will still last 24 hours. 3. Ties will be broken the the next day with a bonus tiebreaker match. If the match is still a tie after the first tiebreaker, we will do a third match which I will abstain from and only vote if the results end in a third tie. 4. Have fun. First up, the iconic vampire battles the pop up book monster come to life. Dracula, shows no signs of dominance he has in past contest, but Mr Babadook has looked good in his debut this year. Our second matches features two veterans of the contest. The boogyman has finally made it out of the second round, but the girl from the well is looking to end it right there. Samura is the only character to shut out a foe this year, while Micheal had to go to a tiebreaker last round with with fellow serial killer Norman Bates.
