Fans of classic Halo games also have a lot to look forward to with todays announcement that Halo: TheMaster Chief Collection will receive enhancements for Xbox One X, as well as fixes, improvements and upgrades to the core game to help bring it forward and modernize many of the games systems to take advantage of Xbox platform advancements since its original launch.

While were incredibly excited by this opportunity to go back under the hood with MCC, its not going to be easy nor is it going to happen overnight. To help facilitate this process were planning to roll out a public flighting program for MCC to allow for iterative patches and updates while testing in the wild at large scale. Right now, were targeting kicking this off next spring and when the time comes well need the support of our community to help test and provide feedback at large scale as we work to update and improve MCC. Well share additional details and timing as plans are locked.

I remember trying to get into any multiplayer match and just giving up on the game after like a week of trying. I still enjoy the campaign's, but man was that a waste of money. Also did anyone else itt play through Halo 3 for its 10th anniversary last month?

The damage is already done.

Even with Halo 3 becoming backwards compatible recently and getting a small boost of players, they've already split the player base for each game between the original and the MCC version.

It's gonna work the same on the old X1s though so no one needs to buy an X. Unless they want to play classic Halo in GLORIOUS 4K

All I want is for them to fix the appearance rate of Halo 3 in matchmaking. In BTB, Halo 3 will always occupy one of the three voting slots, and due to it being the most popular game, I end up playing it way more often than the other three Halo games. Even if this does get fixed, its mostly the fault of the player base. The few times you do get to play Halo CE and 2, there are a large number of quitters, people who are afk, and people just fucking around.
