During this time a female producer had me do a nude line-up with about five women who were much, much, thinner than me. We are stood side-by-side with only tape on covering our privates, she added.

After that degrading and humiliating line-up, the female producer told me I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet.

Lawrence said she tried to stand up for herself and told another producer she thought the weight loss demands were not appropriate.

He said he didnt know why everyone thought I was so fat, he thought I was perfectly fable.

If you want to be an actor then Hollywood should be the bottom of your list.
Hollywood has never been about acting, it's been about explosions, sex and looking cool.

It's a shallow thing for shallow people and the businsess is infinitely cruel.

If you want to prove yourself as an actor go on stage or do indie films which are actually about the art of filmmaking.

I agree. And that's why Hollywood producers are strict about it. If we want to see change, we have to change society's preferences as a whole. Hollywood is just a reflection of what society as a whole values.

Personally, I don't care as much about attractive people in my TV or movies. A character doesn't have to be hot and/or get naked for me to enjoy a movie. Yet, when I see a lot of guys talk about their favorite movies they are always saying shit like "she is soo fucking hot in that movie!!! OMG!!"

And I don't get it. She's on a screen. You aren't going to touch her. You aren't going to have her. Movies can't satisfy your sex life. So what's the big deal? Why fuss over it? Go fuss over real women in your real life. Go fuck them. Let that be your sex life. Don't conflate. But, that's just me.

So yeah, let's not blame the seller when it's the users that are the problem. We do that with drugs, alcohol, sex, everything. We always get this backwards. I think it's because it's just easier to direct your anger at the seller because there are less of them.

Fucking LOL. It's not the predatory producers that are the problem; the consumer who wants to see attractive people is the real problem here!

This is all part of the hollywood mythology and always has been. It's great that a light is being shone on it finally, and I hope things change, but it's weird that people are acting all shocked that this sort of thing happens. That's like being surprised that people are raped in prison. It's something that is fully acknowledged by our popular culture to the point of being joked about.

I don't know why people are surprised at this. There are millions of attractive women wanting to be in Hollywood and some of the people who made it big did some things to get there. Imagine being an actress and you want your big break. After getting rejected for parts, desperation starts to set in and if a producer offer a part for sex, some women will jump at the chance. They see it as a necessary sacrifice to jump start their careers.

This is the same for the fashion industry, where some models give favors to get jobs. Because if one person don't do it, someone else will. The funny thing is that people act like this is new. It isn't...it's been happening since these industries started. And Hollywood did a good job covering it up because the women don't want to jeopardize their careers and men enjoy the perks.
