My friend has a Samsung 4k Smart TV and wants to know how the Gamefly Streaming service is that it offers. He was recently robbed of his 360 and was trying to see if he had to buy another console to play the occasional game. So.....

1) Does Gamefly Streaming do okay for his needs? I don't know if its streaming passes or not for lag.

2) He's gonna need a controller, right...it's not gonna make him use the remote controller, is it? He wants a 360 controller but that was stolen too so I figure he'll want to buy another.

Anything else to know?

so, a couple things...

1. not every game is on it, but there are some good ones on there. i don't know his network situation, but i do know that you can try the service out without a subscription in their free app, so that would probably be the best situation

3. as a general rule, these kinds of services tend to be surprisingly playable, but a few genres are rough, like fighting games and racing games.

Free app test-period is great, buying a controller's not a big deal for him, and neither genre will really be in his interest (mostly turn-based stuff).
