Usually it's when posters keep posting with an annoying little gimmick like that guy and his tinder slut post, and that other guy that often post with ",ok?" at the end of each topic title and post.

Absolutely nothing. Censorship is for the weak minded. It's not like people can post anything truly offensive here anyway, it's too moderated.

1) Spam and gimmick posters, where the content has little or no value. (eg, KOF's "drunk" topics, Larry's Tinder shit, creepy fetish guy who keeps getting banned, etc)

2) Repeated harassment over a long period of time, with less leniency for troll alts

Then I temp-block minor offenders.

Even the worst posters can have some redeeming topics or post.

When it is clear they're stupid. And a stupid person always tries to claim you're censoring them when you just don't want to hear their stupid bullshit anymore. We all gatekeep and we don't all sit rapt listening to the drunk hobo in the bus station go on a spiel about the Jews controlling the world. I won't call the police on the bum, but I will walk away while holding my nose.

i've never liked blocking people. never have on here as far as i'm aware, only once on facebook just to remove it a few days later because it just felt like I let the dude get under my skin and I was admitting it by blocking him. (though in hindsight he deserved it. was in a fan group on facebook and he seemingly would go out of his way to start arguments with nearly any opinion I shared despite the majority of said group was very civil)

I can't remember if I have anyone on ignore. There's definitely a few I've thought about. Larry's Tinder topics always seem dumb, but I never click on them, the titles are enough to keep me away. I was probably close to blocking Ziggi a year or two ago when he was going hard with the transphobic bullshit.

There's a few people I've been considering putting on ignore recently, some for trolling and just being annoying more than interesting. One because his topics draw out some negative emotions I don't want to deal with and I tend to become a bit snappy in his topics, so I think I might need to use it for both our sakes.
