I've changed a radiator, an idler pulley, serpentines, u joint, starter, and fuel filter. And of course my own oil changes. For the most part I've managed my own repairs over the years without going to a shop. Just changed the timing belt on my Celica, have rebuilt engines and done engine swaps, do Stage 1 tuning (high performance intake/exhaust/FI computer) on my own cars. I think a lot of people just get intimidated and think car repairs are a lot more complicated than they actually are which often is just remove a few bolts i've struggled once or twice, where the tire even with all the lugs off, was "seized" I guess the word would be and required a pretty good amount of physical force to pull off. but I still got it done despite being admittedly below average strength for a male of my age.
