itachi15243 10/12/17 4:37:42 PM #1:	As a Rick and Morty fan, I see way more sarcastic comments about the high IQ bullshit, how obnoxious the fans are, how stupid they are, how the show sucks, how they all believe they're geniuses, and all the other crap about all of it way more than I hear any actual serious shit from fans about how intelligent they are for understanding the show, or them ranting about how amazing and intelligent the show actually fucking is. This shit is just annoying, and it seems like most of you who bitch non stop about all these "huge" issues about the show and it's fan base outnumber the toxic fans, their discussion of the show, the quality of the show, and everything else about it that you complain about. Part of me just thinks it's something that a lot of you just like to hate on because the show is a lot more mainstream now, and especially on CE has outnumbered the fans you guys bitch about for a while now. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewers head. Theres also Ricks nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that theyre not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldnt appreciate, for instance, the humour in Ricks existential catchphrase Wubba Lubba Dub Dub, which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenevs Russian epic Fathers and Sons. Im smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmons genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it.
