I honestly don't see the point in these. I mean chances are you would still be friends/acquaintances with folk you were friends/acquaintances with back at school in most cases and they are the only people you would care to catch up with.

Why should I go next year?

No friends at all, nor anybody else I give a damn about I last saw nearly 10 years ago.

I wasn't sure of the date so I missed it. Granted, not a whole lot of point in going to the 10-year.

I kinda got myself uninvited for ripping the party planning committee, but I still say that it was justified.

Their plans consisted of 85 dollar tickets, 150 for a couple.... to rent out the VFW, which cost 300 total for the night. But they wanted to spend 600 on a photo booth rental and props. Our admission did not include an open bar. I told them that I wasn't paying that much to see people that I've actively avoided since high school and especially without an open bar.

its been more than 10 years. didn't even get a invite, nor do I give a fuck. I didn't make friends worth mentioning in school I tended to make friends with whom ever lived close to me and the only one of those I keep in contact was like 2 grades below me.

edit: actually its been exactly 10 years. which one would invite me though I attended 4 different highschools. the one I graduated from? doubt the one I did would do reunions, school I was in pissed me off so I pulled out of that school and went to a community college for adult highschool

I went this year. It was almost entirely the happy / sexy and successful people who went, I was happy for them while I quietly ate chicken wings.

It's been over 10 years since I graduated, I'm not certain they had one. At the time, I saw a few former classmates chattering about setting one up. I asked about it, and the conversation stopped. They either didn't have one, or didn't want me there. They likely just were planning a private get together and I interrupted. Oh well.

Sooo you were bullied in high school? Why am I not surprised? Of course you were.

They probably did it without inviting me. Then again by the time it happened I was in the wrong country anyhow.

I never got an invite. My friend from HS who I still see now and then told me it was cancelled anyway since not very many people RSVP'd.

There was none for the tenth year and I don't think the twentieth will happen either as no one started planning anything for next year.

Saw pictures. There was like 15 there out of a class of a few hundred. Looked sad.

Already passed five years ago but I don't think one was held. Supposedly the reunion for the 2001 class had such poor attendance that planning a 2002 reunion mighta been pointless.

Plus with social media nowadays, its relatively easy to keep up with ol high school friends. I may not ever talk to them but seeing pictures alone is enough to kinda see where they are at with life. Glad to see about all of them are doing well.

Being single my entire life, I wouldn't know. But even after ten+ years? Given most folks are quite emotionally and mentally different from their younger selves, would folks still hold a grudge that long when more than likely it was their younger and dumber selves that made those mistakes?

It's not a grudge it's more like"We saw each other naked" kinda weird.Some of the relationships aren't that old either, I hooked up with a couple of them out of high school.
