Do you believe him when he says he's "blacklisted" cause he's "conservative?

70 y/o Oscar Nominated Crybaby James Wds says he's RETIRING from Hollywood because no one would HIRE him anymore because of his "Conservative" views!!

The news broke out after his real estate agent is selling his Rhode Island Lake House as his agent says he just wants to "relax" now.

The property is selling for 1.39 million and he has 4 other homes.

Woods is known for his political views and has been heavily supporting Trump and posting conspiracy theories against Democrats and said since then he's had a hard time finding "work" in Hollywood

The actor came under fire after he slammed the age gap between leads Sony Classics release of "Call Me By Your Name" featuring 2 men aged 24 and 17 in the movie where they have a romantic relationship.

Do you believe him when he says he's being blacklisted for being "conservative"? let's see if people do

its funny hes even a actor. I found his name on the top 20 list of highest IQs in the world once, but it said beside his name that despite being super intelligent he caught the "acting bug" in college and dropped out and the rest was history. his IQ IIRC was 190

He's blacklisted because he's a fucking lunatic. I liked him in John Carpenters Vampires but good riddance to this nutcase.

He's a good actor. But there's a lot of factors why he probably isn't getting work. I don't really think politics plays too much into it. I don't think anyone in Hollywood likes his Twitter rants, but if putting him in a movie would make them money they would ignore all of it. But he's a 70 year old actor that plays heavies. Limited demand for that sort of thing unless you're like Clint Eastwood, another dude with controversial views but gets work. But Clint makes the movie himself and casts himself in it.

yeah hollywood is liberal as fuck but I was going to point out, eastwood wouldn't give a rats ass about his political views and likely wouldn't be ashamed to cast him in a movie. but eastwood did say something along the lines of he tries to find the perfect person for each role rather they are an A lister or not., so he wouldn't cast Woods just cause they share an opinion or two.

I don't think eastwood is as much of a right wing nutjob as he comes off though, surely he falls into that side of things, but watch gran turino which I believe he wrote the script for. its basically a story of a old racist white dude who learns to not be so racist and befriends those who he was not long ago calling "barbarians" and questioning why the fuck did they even come to america.

edit: to drive the point further, he used an obscure group of people I had never even heard about. Hmong people they where called and he went out of his way to make sure the people who played them in the movie where actually of that group of people

I'm just saying that Hollywood is completely ruled by money and not politics. Mel Gibson can insult Jews and blacks and whatever else, but if he makes a movie that turns a profit he's still going to get a seat at the Oscars anyway.

i'm sure politics do play a role in casting sometimes though just cause people are shitty like that "oh this guy is a liberal whack job, fuck that guy I ain't giving him any of my money" sorta stuff.

all and all I wish celebs would just shut the fuck up with their political opinions. it would be healthier for their career (not just for that reason. i've met some people who refuse to watch movies X actor is in because "omg hes a liberal whack job") and it sad how easily their opinions influence weaker minded people and it seems like they know that so use their stardom to try and sway people to their line of thinking.

I don't really care when a celebrity shares their opinions on stuff. Even when they disagree with me. It is actually kind of stupid when they pretend not to have them just to get work.

its mostly the fact people (us regular people) act like their opinions are worth more than our own, that really bugs me. I don't mind them having an opinion, so I guess I should specify I really hate that the media takes their opinions and runs wild with it making sure everybody knows about it.

I mean when clint talked to a empty chair on stage, yeah thats gonna draw attention, can't really blame the media for latching onto that. but when its just a twitter post or just some off comment they made at some point and time, media should leave it alone. and sometimes the media goes out of their way to ask them of their political opinions.

Despite their high-handed talk, liberals aren't big on inclusion when it comes to anybody who disagrees with them and through that exclusion they've created insanely powerful echo chambers in Hollywood.
