You are not obligated to post a reason why, but it is appreciated.
You have to have actually played the game past any tutorial it may have had, or for more than 10 minutes if no tutorial was provided. Just kind of looking for some other perspectives on games that are commonly accepted to be good. For me a few that come to mind are: 1. Life is Strange- Just wasn't engaging or fun mechanically and there are too many games out there with more interesting stories, and more player choice. Didn't hate what I played, but never bothered to finish. 2. Any Bethesda RPG that isn't Oblivion- They are just too shallow and buggy. Get away with shit no other company can. Rely too heavily on the modding community to make up for their shortcomings. Their games are always glitchy as all hell, ugly, and have the most boring combat on the market. Top that all off with the extremely weak writing and I've lost just about all interest. Oblivion is my exception because I think it was good enough in the RP department and strong enough in writing/story to make up for most of the faults it had. Probably would not be the case if I ran into a lot of bugs or issues running the game, but I played it pretty late and had a relatively good time with it. 3. PUBG- looks horrible, runs horrible, bad gunplay/mechanics. Buggy. If you enjoy these- more power to you. I'm not gonna tell you you're wrong. Just not for me. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Shadow of the Colossus
I played the PS3 version which apparently has some issues, but I found it an incredibly tedious and frustrating experience. The grip mechanic is just awful and there often seemed like you had very little option other than falling the hell off. I also remember at least one Colossus who was obnoxious because you had to wait for him to hit a step so you could climb up - a tactic which I had to eventually google because when I thought it it and tried it, it just didn't work. --- ... Farcry 3
Farcry 2 is one of my favorite games ever and Farcry 3 just felt boring. It was just an FPS Assassin's Creed game and I had already grown tired of that formula. The world was pretty but there was nothing to do in it and the base of the game being that you had to remove all of the enemies from an area to even do the boring side stuff sucked the fun right out of it for me. ... Shadow of the Colossus I can see that. I loved the game, but I played it on ps2 with no expectations. You can also get more stamina throughout the game to ease that grip issue, or even find places/times to stand or let go of your grip safely to recover, if you ever intend to play again. Final boss is a bit of a shit show if you don't know what you're doing. boxington posted... Uncharted 1-3. I think 2 & 4 are the best in the series, but for different reasons each. im going to do mostly new/recent games since I feel ive become a lot more critical with games as ive gotten older and nostalgia isnt really a factor anymore
Zelda BOTW - I found it to be boring and I missed the structure of previous Zelda games. It basically seems to take all the elements I dislike in open world games and roll them together in one package MGSV - it's trash Uncharted 1 - Lame Gears of War knockoff combat and platforming is this thing where it looks cool but ultimately you're just pressing one button and basically watching a cutscene Bioshock Infinite - took out all the cool adventure elements of Bioshock to turn it into a dumb bro shooter with an incomprehensible plot that tries too hard Bloodborne - game is cool as hell but I just cannot get into it, i find it way too frustrating and difficult. it's just so twitchy, fast paced, and the difficulty doesnt ramp up, it just starts super high and stays there. plus i hated some mechanics like having to farm blood vials & bullets Witcher 3 - Not a terrible game but I found it kind of boring. I put in like 50 hours and the plot went absolutely nowhere in that time, so it was hard to stay engaged in such a story intensive RPG like this --- A Green Butter Alt http://i.imgur.com/LhwwG.gif ... The Witcher 3. Annoying characters and shitty gameplay.
The Last of us. Just boring, I feel nothing for characters if they aren't at least a little interesting. Batman: Arkham games. Super hero stuff just doesn't do anything for me. Final Fantasy X+. The Witcher 3. I'm not really an RPG guy, and I'm not into the fantasy stuff like dragons and wizards and s***, but I figured I'd try something new and I seen all the hype the game was getting so I bought it during a psn sale. I just couldn't really get into it. I hated the way the dude moved (I know they apparently fixed it but it was still felt annoying) and there was a couple other things I didn't like. One being that everything gave such little xp that you never really level up, and to go off of that since I wasn't really gaining levels there was no point in exploring because I would just find something like 20 levels higher than me and it would kill me in 2 hits. I didn't like the fighting either, it was a weird mix of if I put it on the highest difficulty, it would take 10 years to kill something and I would die in 3 hits, but if I put it on the lower difficulty it was way too easy, but I'm not really gonna complain about that because it was probably just me sucking at the game. I will admit you could obviously tell it was an extremely well made game and it looked beautiful, but it just wasn't for me. Unfortunately I couldn't return it since I bought the digital version

Zelda BOTW - Basically agree with the top 3. I think it's a fair complaint for TW3 to say it has too much stuff. It can be a bit overwhelming I'm sure if you're not really invested in it. It's my favorite game ever, I think. A lot of the pacing problems TW3 faces are usually player controlled though. Grand Theft Auto IV, easily the worst 3D entry in the series, including the PSP games. It stripped out tons of content from the previous titles, had extremely repetitive missions, a boring map with much less variety than previous titles, a bunch of tedious side missions, and tried to focus on a narrative that quite frankly sucked and also contradicted the gameplay. The RAGE engine was a massive step up however and the ragdoll physics were great, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. It definitely doesn't deserve to be universal 10/10's

Breath of the Wild - One thing I always enjoyed in Zelda games was this gradual progression of strength and kind of "growing" into the role of the hero through doing dungeons and earning new abilities to help you traverse the dungeon and the world and BotW threw it all out. Your capabilities are set a few hours into the game and you never get out of that, it just becomes a matter of running shrines to increase health/stamina so more useful weapons start spawning so you could get through things more easily. I've got a lot of complaints about the game, but I'll just sum it up by saying the things I did enjoy (shrines and side quests) weren't enough for me to overlook the bad core of the game.
