That event already is basically forgotten, people will move on to Halloween, ThanksGiving, Xmas etc

Probably because most people weren't personally affected and live rather far from the massacre.

Also because there are a lot of other things happening to be concerned about. Also because dwelling forever on every bad thing is a great way to have a very depressed population that gets nothing done. Canceling holidays is a great way to say "Yeah we have given up a life"

You need to live your life. I live In Ohio. Dwelling on the Massacre and other terrible events happening far away for a long time will do me no good.

Because the only reason they ever cover such a thing for a long period of time is to push for gun control, despite the fact that the guns he used were locked behind nine months worth of paper work and an atrocious "tax" which requires finger prints, authorization from both local and federal law enforcement and were made illegal to manufacture for civilians since 86.
