Welcome to the 2017 Horror Icons tournament, Every few years I try to do this in October because I've spent my life loving horror and well, what better time to do these during the Halloween season.
Rules: 1. You can vote in as many of the daily matches as you want. 2. Matches will last 24 hours and will usually start around midnight EST. I may start a day earlier if work interferes with my sleep, but matches will still last 24 hours. 3. Ties will be broken the the next day with a bonus tiebreaker match. If the match is still a tie after the first tiebreaker, we will do a third match which I will abstain from and only vote if the results end in a third tie. 4. Have fun. The Bracket: http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=468012 Day 3 has a few interesting matches. First up Hannibal the Cannibal takes on the Angel of Death. Lector made it to final four in 2014 and the sweet sixteen 2012, losing to Jason in '12. Angela appeared in 2012, but jobbed to the Slender Man. Speaking of Slendy, this year he's got a big first round match with Leon Kennedy. Slender has made it out the first round twice, but can he do it again against the cop turned secret agent. Our third match has the American Psycho entering the upside down. Bateman made it out of round one in 2014 and lost by a single vote to Jack Torrence, this year though he's got to start his road to victory against Demogorgon. Our last match pits two newcomers, the demonic Laura will take on the debatable mascot of the RL Stine series, Slappy. Oh and we did have a tiebreaker for day one thanks to a vote in the last 15 mins, but it wasn't the match tie before >.>! Hannibal Lecter vs Angela Baker (Sleepaway Camp) Slender Man vs Leon S.
