Absolutely disgusting, these microtransactions are getting out of hand but as I said years ago when you called me a troll for it, they will only get worse because you accepted them initially thinking them as benign or acceptable and by doing so you show you don't care about quality and will buy anything allowing publishers to take the fucking piss to try and feed their insatiable avarice at our expense again.

No. I'm not defending Gears 4's loot box because it sucked. I liked how Mass Effect 3 did it. I constantly unlocked stuff in that game for free and the post-launch support was great because of it.

that probably depends on how they do it

if its well done and as long as there are people who like games have a job and little time to grind to collect they wont have any problems selling

The randomness of it all is the what sucks to most.

I play this game called WWE Champions and it is mobile game and almost everything is random. You can pay 5 dollars for a CHANCE to get a wrestler that you want. And here is the rub, if you spend your money there is chance that you can give get a wrestler that you already have so you just wasted your money . People talk about spending 100s of dollars on this game looking for the wrestler that they want.

You can be like me and not pay anything but everyone else would just jump over you. However with that said that game is free 2 play. While I don't like it, I can understand what they are doing. they need to make money off of their work. However something like Forza where you can spend 70-80 dollars just to by the thing. Should not be asking you to by for small things, much less loot boxes.
