Across a week. How frequently do you exercise? I'm talking decent cardio vascular etc.





Im a fairly active person myself. I go swimming a couple of times a week, jog over the weekends and cycle loads.

But I'm curious as to CE in general.

Are you satisfied with the amount of exercise you get? Do you perhaps overdo it?
Does 'life' get in the way of letting you get more exercise than you'd like to have?

Basketball training twice a week, in the gym a couple times, plus cycling. It's a nice healthy balance for me.

Idk how to vote. Is that hours or days? Anyway I alternate every day. One day I'll lift and the next I'll do cardio. People treat you a lot different when you have a bit of muscle and aren't huge fatty.

My schedule is basically.

Week 1: Boxing 3 times, Gym to lift 2 times.
Week 2: Gym to lift 3 times, Boxing 2 times.

Then it alternates like that indefinitely.

It's basically how many occasions per week do you exercise.

Obviously, don't count a 2 min run as an occasion.

Actual proper exercise occasions. Eg time set aside for it.

I try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio a day, usually in the morning. More if during the weekends.

i jog early in the morning every day for nearly 2 hours

then either i'll go to the gym to do some more intensive exercise or do more jogging later in the day after work

i run about 2mi to warm up before lifting on heavy days, which i do 4 days a week hard and 3 days a week light. on light days i walk my dogs a couple miles.

I go to the gym six times a week, roughly 1.5 hours each time. I split up muscle groups each day, but always do 20 min of cardio at the end of the workout. I absolutely love it, it's the best part of my day and I look forward to it each time.

Most people seem to be strongly doing anything more than day on/day off, but I just do what works for me. I've been doing this for a long time and I still continuously make gains in both strength and physique and have not had to deal with any pain or even minor discomfort from my routines. I'm 31 and currently in the second best shape of my life (hard to compete with 18/19 year old me but I'm damn close).

If you aren't getting cardio while lifting, you aren't lifting heavy enough. Veins popping out while lifting crew. I lift heavy three days a week but will do lighter squats and pull-ups probably 5 days a week.

Pool in the morning every other day. I go to my community gym occasionally between that but I need to actually get a gym membership and stick to something so I can actually build up some muscle. I don't really think I have good form or anything, though, so it's kind of stopped me from trying really hard since I feel like I'm wasting my time. I should get a trainer.... or find a buddy who can go to the same gym as me...

Ideally about 5x a week, 3 days of weight lifting and two days featuring cardio. Schedule being something like: Lift/Rest/Cardio/Lift/Lift/Rest/Cardio

But recently it's been closer to 3x a week with 2x lifting and 1x cardio because I'm a baddie who says yes to misc social events.

Light squats are numbers starting with 2xx Heavy squats are numbers that start with a 4xx. Light squats are for muscle size. Heavy squats are for muscle strength. When I'm done with my leg workout for the day, my shorts are a little too small for my legs.

Yea. Two grade 2 MCL tears in my right knee, a very minor grade 1 ACL tear as well.

We have a meeting at the police station tomorrow. They are refusing to pay, the cops will send a notice to appear, if they don't show, someone will be arrested. They'll send you to jail in Thailand for refusing to pay your debts.

I split every night with 2 hours, first hour is cardio, at least 3 to 4 miles, elevation jacked to the max to get a good sweat and afterwards working on arms, chest legs or core for 1 hour. I go 4 to 5 times a week at night after work so I'm in pretty good shape for 230 pounds, I could afford to lose 30 but I can't give up good food for that long.
