Welcome to the 2017 Horror Icons tournament, Every few years I try to do this in October because I've spent my life loving horror and well, what better time to do these during the Halloween season.
Rules: 1. You can vote in as many of the daily matches as you want. 2. Matches will last 24 hours and will usually start around midnight EST. I may start a day earlier if work interferes with my sleep, but matches will still last 24 hours. 3. Ties will be broken the the next day with a bonus tiebreaker match. If the match is still a tie after the first tiebreaker, we will do a third match which I will abstain from and only vote if the results end in a third tie. 4. Have fun. The Bracket: http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=468012 Tonight's matches feature some strong competition. First up, the dweller of the well battles the head of the Baker family. Samura took Pennywise to a tiebreaker in the second round last year, but how will she fare against Jack. Second up the Powerpuff Girls "creepiest: foes battles Freddy Kruger's most resourceful. Micheal Myers has never made it out of the second round, losing to Godzilla and Hannibal in the past, this year his path begins against the Tall Man, who also was dealt a lose in his only match to the King of the Kaiju. Last up, it's a pair of characters with Mommy issues. Lisa is making her debut, while Norman has done well before, making it to the Sweet 16 in 2012 before falling victim to Dracula. Day 1 matches still have about 15 minutes to go, but unless someone votes, here's how they ended up. To be safe, tiebreaker will be with the Day 3 matches.
