Sometimes I'll join in conversations with my co-workers, who are government employees and thus make good money, about typical struggles in life and all I get for it is stuff like "oh, you live at the Riverfront (Philly neighborhood), what do you know about life being hard?".

It's not like they pay the property taxes I have to, or the horrible HOA fees, or lose like 40% of their income to taxes. They don't know what it's like being rich and not living in a gated community and having people come to your door asking for money all the time, like people raising money for their tax free churches.

That's another reason I hate being rich. I just want to be able to go outside and not be expected to be wearing layers of the finest clothing, and have all the most expensive accessories.
