Me and my fiance are seriously considering it since this'll be our first Halloween moved out together and we live in an apartment building that doesn't really have kids in it, so the ability to live vicariously through trick or treaters is off the table.

Anyone ever pull this off before, specifically people that don't have children? I know some parents do it with their kids, but we don't have any.

I dunno. if you're young people in an area that has other young people it might be a fun way to meet people. Bring booze and pour drinks for people who open the door.

This Halloween marks 30 years since I went trick or treating.

1987 was the end for me.

I don't go trick or treating, but I do hit up the parade and dress up still. I fucking love Halloween GOAT day of the year

Yeah. And IIRC, a study was even done, and most people don't mind if adults go trick or treating, as long as they follow the rules of saying trick or treat, and thank you, and wear costumes and all that. Nobody's ever treated me poorly for still going.

I remember once a neighbor called the cops on me saying I egged their house.

It wasn't me...it was the twin boys across the street.

Nestor! We didn't realize it was such a not-unheard of thing. We'll probably give it a shot then. At very least we've both got costumes that have masks that cover our faces. Thanks for the insight guys!
