So essentially I'm almost always at a 0 or 100 when it comes to my mood. Either I'm moody, quiet, to myself, and slightly depressed, or I'm joyful, talkative, and outgoing.

The reason I'm a little concerned is because the motivators for these moods are usually nonexistent. Earlier today I was for no reason in a bad mood. So much so, that it was clearly visible in my body language (For example, throwing things down rather than placing them down). Then out of nowhere I started feeling overly joyful, I even began complimenting people for no particular reason.

Again I wouldn't be worried if the behavior didn't occur as often as it did, or if I didn't switch from 0 to 100 but that is unfortunately the case at hand. Just thought I would seek a second hand view before seeking further help.

Maybe I need a therapist of some sort? I express my problems on the internet because I don't feel comfortable expressing these feelings to the people I'm close to. I've always been pinned as someone whose "To himself".

It can't hurt to talk to a therapist, it's that funny thing that as a stranger I feel easier talking to them than a family member or friend. Medication can help but as someone that has dealt with it all my life it never goes away, you just have to adapt.
