I lent Metroid 2 to so many kids growing up, none of them got passed the first area. To be fair, that first wall-bird hidden passage was pretty unfair. I haven't played the remake but i'm surprised modern Nintendo would make it remotely difficult. Does the game come with the classic version?

Unfortunately no, which I am kind of sad about. Zero mission came with the original Metroid, why can't this game come with the original Metroid 2?

It does come with a reversible sleeve so you can make the game box look exactly like the original Metroid 2 box, which is kind of cool.

They added new powers that let you cheese the game. One highlights any destructible blocks within a very large radius of you.

You just keep jumping over it when it swoops at you. Wait for the spark that signifies you can counter the attack, press X, then keep firing missiles.
