First one was amazing. Easily my game of the year for whatever year it came out in. I'm excited to play this one but will wait for whichever of these happens first...
Console release or I get a nice PC.

i have a lot of gripes about the first one:

large numbers of instant death traps making honor difficulty essentially unplayable

bosses opening with TPK-level moves that encourage the player to cheese them by sending a player ahead to trigger the boss, then teleport back/ressurect downed character after boss uses their super-move

battles being trivialized by damage->aoe combos like rage+rain of arrows in the mid-late game that kinda take away from the earlier tactical play of terrain effect mixing

random loot requiring identification each and every time and 99% of it being worthless, making crafting the simpler solution starting from about level 7

ultra-cheesy voice acting

i am highly skeptical that larian fixed these problems.

ther isnt an instal kill traps in this game so far.

there is an insta kill surface/area type , but they're pretty obvious

pretty much, but the higher level abilities are now have their own resource called source point and they dont regenerate. you have to fill your pooints at source fountain so it is kinda feel like semi-vancian casting

random loot and item level scaling WAS WAAAAY WORSE I FUCKING HATE THE LOOT IN THIS GAME WHAT THE FUCK SWEN VINCKE!!!!!!!!

also crafting now, aside from potions and grenades and arrows are now completely useless
