Do you really need to do that much preparation if nobody knows where you are? You don't have to worry about Korea or Russia bombing you, because I doubt they know the address of one particular US citizen. Now cops on the other hand, that's another story. And it would probably take awhile for the military to show up. The biggest threat I think would be your neighbors, since they're the closest to you, and definitely know where you live. I honestly think I could just hide out on the roof of a building or something, literally lay low, and wait for the whole thing to blow over. But considering I'm in Arizona, if I'm given an hour to prepare, I could easily find an empty field or something to hide in.

Sure. I'd probably just hide in my bathroom and push the washer and drier in front of the door. By the time I'm done hiding, people would start coming in, but mostly neighbors who probably would have a hard time with the front door since no one around here has axes or anything and the windows are a few feet above ground. So by the time they finish looking for me and figure where I'm at the time will be over (and they won't be able to come in since they'd have nothing to break the door with, its a residential area no owns axes or whatever.. Plus my neighbors don't even know me, so unless everyone magically knows who I am and they all zone in on me.. Heck I could probably just stay in bed and wait it out haha

Assuming that they're trying to kill me in a sane way and not a "russia lobbing nukes at everywhere in the world" way, I think Goatslayer's plan is best. Give your technology to a hobo, go find somewhere to hide that would take more than 20 minutes to get to.

I guess this all depends on whether you get to choose exactly when the 20 minutes starts, because it would take maybe 3 for people to arrive at your front door.
