Very rarely. And I remember it happening in jr high and earlier. I don't think I was when in high school.

in fact I once got suspended in middle school for finally fighting back against a bully who was shoving me against my locker

but then I hit 6' by high school and people mostly left me alone after that

I got made fun of and briefly harassed when I lived in Texas, and then briefly harassed in my senior year of high school. I handled them by reporting them to the principal and having my mom pull rank on their parents. Nothing I'd count as bullying.

I got like, pushed over in 1st grade once. Was a one time incident. I remembered because my mom flipped out because I ripped my jeans and she was like "WHO DID THIS TO YOU!?! WE MUST TEACH YOU TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!!!" Which I guess, was probably a good reaction for her to have.

And some jerk threatened me in 3rd or 4th grade in the bathroom, though I completely blew him off and absolutely nothing came of it. Clearly my mom flipping out about getting pushed over helped me have the confidence to blow off jerks.

Those are my only two remotely bully incidents ever. Voted no.

There was one kid who was just a generalized bully to everyone in like first grade, but otherwise no.

fast forward to now and he's a Hasidic Jew. Strange trajectory his life took.

I got a lot of flack for the entire time I was in public education. I have flashbacks. I still think when people around me are laughing that they might be laughing at me (because a lot of times in school, they were). I'm pretty socially stunted over it.

And to top things off, some people from back then are STILL laughing about me. I saw it on Facebook when an old friend Friended me, someone who didn't know I'd just joined her list had posted something about me and was laughing about it.

I voted rarely, but thinking about it, just plain no is probably more accurate. All the hostile encounters I can remember were pretty much one-off unrelated situations, which I wouldn't consider bullying. I guess I think of bullying as one person harassing someone multiple times, or multiple people harassing someone all for similar reasons, and that never happened to me. And there weren't very many instances anyway.

What did happen was my friends would often pick on me for various things. It did bother me sometimes, but I never felt like it was with real malicious intent. That they just kept doing it because I didn't make a big deal out of it, and thus they thought it was just fun and games. And it was really, just sometimes they could get a little carried away or make the same jokes too often. Every now and then I spoke up and it would stop, though.
