BalanceLost 09/20/17 11:10:05 AM #1:	The Socialdemocrats re-took power in October 2014 after 8 years of Right-wing rule with massive poorly funded tax cuts for the rich, a substantial deficit and crazy open-border policies. Now we have a major surplus and the lowest national debt since 1977. The national debt is now 24% of our GDP compared to 34% in October 2014. The Socialdemocrats are also raising military spending and fighting the EU on the removal of our border controls instated in late 2015 as a response to the immigration crisis. The various right-wing parties on the other hand engage in squabbling and infighting. The current Government hold a minority in Riksdagen but still get loads of stuff passed. Like it or not, we live in a globalist society in the civilized world. Sweden won't be alone. I hear America shouldn't be everyone's security force anyway. Many experts considered it a bad move since Värnplikten has been an important part of our military for ages.
