And everyone who picked Green Bay (myself included) all breathed a collective sigh of relief. That was way too close.

Back to back overtime wins

Not used to actually winning games like that in suicide. I haven't been to week 4 in forever.

So many saves today in this.

I could have had the same scenario as close as Hawks/Titans was... but Hawks blew it already in the 3rd quarter.

man, offhand none of those would be in my top 3. no way i'm touching the Jags on the road or picking against Washington. Atlanta isn't a terrible pick, but Arizona is about the same level of risk while having much less future value. Packers and Seahawks look like the safe ones.

Picking the Bears is dumb and you should feel dumb for wanting to pick the Bears.

Did that help y/n

Also picking road teams is fine in suicide, you'll usually run yourself out of picks later if you don't pick them early. The best rule is to avoid divisional game if possible. The Panthers were easily one of the very best picks week 1 and people overlooked them.

It's basically take your pick of Falcons/Cowboys/Seahawks next week. Jacksonville had some level of temptation until the Jets humiliated Miami and showed they actually aren't the worst team in the league.

Next week is a crapton of divisional games or coin flip games. I'll probably just go with Seattle.

So nobody idled this week, and nobody has any of tonight's teams. I will probably go ahead and post a new topic within the hour.

there are certain times i could be convinced to take a road team. like Patriots or Falcons against the Jets coming up. but the Panthers are simply not a good enough team for me to do that in most circumstances. and honestly i prefer to pick teams when they are playing their easiest game of the season if possible, which is rarely going to be a road game. divisional games don't bother me. i don't think they really have upsets much more often, or if they do it's already built into the spread (like Green Bay next week).

and the Dolphins on the road just lost to the Jets. Steelers on the road just lost to the Bears. road games are always more risky.

The Bears should've beaten the Falcons and the Steelers were a dumb pick I never considered. The hell are you doing suicide picking against a team that, in it's only other home game, should've beaten the Falcons, who may be better than the Steelers?

Dolphins/Jets was divisional and the teams often split their series 1-1. Bad pick.

The NFC West constantly has weaker divisional teams winning games and has for years. They're the perfect example of why I never touch divisional games.

The Browns were a better pick than either, one I may have made if Tolzien were still starting. Brissett scared me away from that one.
