I like that bathing/showers is part of the religion. I don't like the idea that you have to do it or go to hell or whatever, but I like the idea of a religion that instructs followers in basic hygeine / proper self respect.

I like how lending money with interest is against the religion.

Didn't they invent zero and modern math concepts?

I think 0 was invented in india by hindus. but there was a period of time where the caliphates led the world in math and invented a lot of mathematical concepts yea (algebra, algorithm, and other words are arabic in origin)

I think it was mostly mathematicians of persian descent rather than arabic tho. not that it matters any

the caliphates had the benefit of having access to both greek and indian wisdom from opposite sides, so a lot of those ideas flourished there for a while
