Tbh it sounds like you believe black people don't face any racism not because it's the truth, but because that song and dance happens to be the most convenient for you given your race. Maybe you're blind to it, but yeah, being Caucasian has given you more base opportunity throughout your life than I've had. It's the same as being tall. Maybe you can't afford the peanut butter on the top shelf of the grocery store, but at least you can reach the top shelf.

Meanwhile you're resistant to hearing us out because you've convinced yourself we're trying to pick your pocket. We're not. We just want the right not to be shot, not to be racially profiled. We want to be able to raise our kids in peace and give them the same level of opportunity you're able to give your kids. But it seems like you don't want that, because it's all a zero sum game to you, and of we're able to give our kids a little bit more opportunity that means your son or daughter will have a little bit less. It's pure selfishness. How much do you really care about people outside of you and your family? Do you care at all, or is it just a dog eat dog world to you?

The point of my post was to show what BLM sounds like to people who don't buy BLM's premise. Clearly you do buy into it.

I have sympathy for poor blacks who have been told it's my fault that their lives are hard. If I had been born into that one parent crime filled scenario I may have taken the bait as well from bigoteers like Al Sharpton. I have zero sympathy for these Yale BLM protesters who look at the school that pumped up their SAT score by 230 points and say, "we have nothing to lose but our chains!" You're studying at Yale. That blog didn't debunk the article in the LA times. It was about affirmative action in colleges. This affirmative action was translated into SAT points to show how big it is. Whether or not there is an algorithm that literally adds points based on skin color is not important.

That level of narcissism is mind blowing. Self sufficient people are just trying to get by. We aren't stacking Wall Street and Silicon Valley with Asians to score an "I told ya so" on poor black people.

When you rely on such a conspiracy theory to support your worldview, maybe it's time to go back to the drawing board. On average, Asian families push for academic excellence. That's the difference.

So when you said "propped up" you just meant that some people pointed to a successful minority and said "see"? I don't see why that matters. I had thought you were saying that Japanese Americans outperformed whites because they were being propped up, because that would have been an actual argument if it were true.

I don't really "support" Trump in any particular way other than the fact I voted for him last year. I praise him when I think he deserves praise, and I criticize him when I think he deserves criticism.

White people just vote to lower their capital gains tax or whatever and the more ignorant ones do mental gymnastics to justify Trump's white supremacist tendencies. Since these voters are mostly white or economically well off they don't feel like they have to interrogate his views too deeply. What a charmed life.

Fiscally conservative voters believe that when you lower restrictions and penalties on business owners in the U.S. (be it small business or big business) it creates more opportunity for everyone. More money flowing through the private sector means more jobs, more opportunity, more reinvesting, more business growth, and less restrictions on businesses here means more jobs are kept in the U.S. instead of going over seas... Pretty simple and sensible concept.
