I use malwarebytes, super antispyware, and the default windows defender. My friend is asking for the best free options and I want to know how out of touch I am. I know it's not for viruses but I think I'm going to recommend cccleaner too.

I would say Avast but it betrayed my trust. I sent an email from my school google account to a potential supervisor and after sending, the bottom of my email had a signature "avast has scanned this email and found no viruses" so embarrassing and sneaky advertising.

I guess Malwarebytes is your best then because that one doesn't say shit only that it's best you buy it rather than rely on the free version that'll be outdated by a week, but they all say that.
