Tao is only relevant in Dragon Ball and so far at least this is focused on Z. I mean that doesn't mean they couldn't use DB era characters, but Tao would probably be pretty low on the list if they did

I actually like Super's designs and wish Kai had been completely redone in the hot new art they gave the openings. This android girl just looks bad to me and did we really need even more Androids? Counting all the movies and spinoffs there are like 30 of the damn things and only maybe 2-3 of them counting Cell were even any good

Probably. But he wasn't really relevant in Z. In addition, Roshi won't bring in the money for merch and player base that a Tien would.
