One is better than the other

I grew up thinking there was nothing better than The Beatles. But now with age and maturity I tend to enjoy the Stones much more.

I don't have a favorable view of the 60s, but the Stones for me. I hate the Beatles.

I like the Stones a little more and listen to them more often but I grew up with the Beatles and certainly don't mind them.
You would have been better served with the old 'Beatles vs Elvis' question.

I am in the opposite boat. When I was growing up I vastly preferred the Rolling Stones, but as I grow older I find myself not caring for the Stones much at all and having a much greater appreciation for the Beatles.

(However I also now like the Beach Boys much more than both of them)

Dude got ptsd from nam and the reason for him being fat is because his colon was ridiculously expanded. Which is why he died. His appearance made him depressed as well.

I grew up thinking The Beatles were terrible. I still do, for the most part.

Aside from a few songs (most of which are the ones with the strongest Paul McCartney influence), most of their songs grate on me. I'd even go so far as to say that The Monkees had more songs worth listening to than The Beatles. I'm not going to make any declarations about the objective quality of their music (though I do think they tend to get a bit more critical acclaim than they accurately deserve, at least as innovators rather than popularizers), but they've just never really appealed to me all that much at all.

I was never hugely into the Rolling Stones either (if I'm going to be honest, I hate about 97% of all pop/rock music coming out of the 60s and 70s), but they still wind up having way more songs I'd rather listen to than The Beatles.

I wonder if anyone would rather say neither, and The Who... I think I gotta say Beatles though, even if I'm not terribly fond of them. (If I have to say a 60's group I guess it'd be Santana, even if the decade was almost over.)

Well I guess we can have Elvis VS Haley then... No? Then we can leave the original question alone...
