Well?

78 here during the summer. Anything lower costs a fortune in electricity. During the winter keep it around 69.

Poll doesn't make sense. Summer or Winter?

55F° in the winter to save on heat. Easy to wear a sweater.

I don't run the A/C except on 100F°+ days in the summer, electricity costs too much. Window fans are a lot cheaper to run. And smarter to acclimate to the heat, anyway.

66°F in summer, 68°F or so in winter.

Fuck the heat.

I meant at the moment

As for right now (mid-September) I don't have it set to anything at all; it's turned off.
The ambient outdoor temperature is fine, so I just let it drift with that for now, saving money all the while.
We've been fortunate to have been having quite a mild September so far; it's happily felt more like October.

Meanwhile, my kittycat is a very fluffy one ^.^
in a nice coincidence,
already prepared for winter when I have it set for usually around 10C/50F. A temperature at which I'm fine ^.^ (I know that most people would find it quite chilly),
and which saves quite a bit of money -- to help pay for next summer's air conditioning, which I use a lot....

(looks like dancer62 and I share the same perspective regarding the winters, ^.^
yet, we could hardly be more different regarding the summers....)

78 or so. And I turn off the A.C. during the day to save money. I hate the cold

We have no central air. In fact, my house has no duct work at all. It was some experimental home built in '68 where everything is electric. Like the house of the future of the past. Anyway we run an air conditioner (window mounted) very rarely in the summer.

In winter we set heat at 60 because as someone else said, it's easy to wear a sweater.

Currently 74 (AC), but it isn't running since it hasn't been that hot in a few weeks.

Once the weather starts turning cold, I'll be setting the heat to 68.
