prilosec is probably bad for you. but i take it like the recommended course where you take it for 2 weeks and then don't take it again for 4 months. might start taking it again tomorrow. have pretty bad reflux.

Well yeah no PPI is recommended for long term use, it's just that doctors and patients all want to prescribe/take it longer cause short term benefits > long term benefits I guess to them.
And to compound the issue, H2 blockers don't seem to work THAT well for a lot of people. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

people should give the exact opposite of those ppi's a shot and take HCL with pepsin, you already have both being produced in your stomach that just makes more
