Where?

Nowhere. He was sent back in time because he was hit by the Omega Sanction which does whatever the writer wants it to do.

He didn't dodge the Omega Effect either. He pushed something else into them. Supergirl did something similar in the Batman/Superman: Apokolips OAM

He landed on the parademon then jumped out of the way, but shouldn't the beams have been fast enough to keep following him?

he knew the path the omega beams would take because he calculated it on the bat computer and then planned his escape route after mapping the area with his bat scanner

They should have curved and kept following him instead of hitting the parademon.

They curve but not instantly. If you time it at the exact moment you can cause them to hit an unintended target. For example, Darkseid shoots Superman once and Wonder Woman blocks it with her bracers even though they'd normally go around her and hit Superman anyway.

Shouldn't they be traveling fast enough to have hit Batman before that moment anyway? I mean here:

dW5jZRW

It looked like super speed was needed to outrun them.

Omega Beams are just nerfed in the DCAU. Most characters are in some form actually.

for the purposes of creating a cool looking animation / scene, the beams travel much slower in cartoons than the comics show them to travel. the reverse will also happen, in both comics and animations where superman doesn't dodge things he is clearly able to dodge.

I can understand if they make changes for visual purposes, but it just seems a bit farfetched that Batman can avoid being hit under these circumstances.

The circumstances where the beam travels much more slowly and he diverts it into a parademon?

iirc in Superman:The Animated Series, during Kal-El's final confrontation with Darkseid he takes the beam to the face, emerges with minimal harm, then crushes darkseid's face when he tries to do it again and causes the beam to blast him instead

neither character suffer any permanent injuries from this

the omega beam is mostly presented as a way to kill turpin

anyway the real problem with "destroyer" is the total undermining of the great world of cardboard speech in order to have lex be the hero

Batman just fundamentally can't function in the same fight as other members of the Justice League without having him become hyper competent to a silly degree where he can out predict everyone.

There is a reason "Batman with a plan" is a meme.
