Did most of the raid with a group of friends tonight and it's a ton of fun. They figured out how to make some cool, unique encounters that don't just come down to "weaken the big boss somehow and then do as much damage as you can, and repeat" (except for the final boss, which is appropriate.) We had to call it quits on the final boss but hopefully we'll get him tomorrow.

Level 20. Did the crucible 2 competitive matches milestone. Got a sparrow as a reward for hitting 20.

Did 1 more mission which unlocked some titan planet.

That's what I'm reading. It appears they'll always be 10 levels below your current level (so if you're 290, you'll get 280 engrams that might have a +5 defense modifier).

I liked it well enough, but I used it to power up the Auto Rifle I use then rebuild it at the same light level roughly (I think 271 now, it was 274 before).

Any tips on how to get an exotic engram? I've got the fire team medallion going and I'm doing heroic public events.

Origin Story is my go to auto rifle.

I got the Borealis (exotic sniper that can cycle elements when you hold square) but I'm terrible with snipers so it's kind of a lost cause!

Exotics, just keep running heroic public events. Fastest way. You can do strikes but they take longer.

I did Sturm today and am working on MIDA right now. Suddenly the biggest thing I miss from D1 is the ability to track any goal by just bringing out Ghost, rather than having to go into the menu.

Can someone please explain this to me? Are you actually weaker when you equip higher light weapons?

I swear my 135 pulse rifle did more damage than my 251 and seemed to have more auto aim on it.
