I get that your first job is usually a pain in the ass, but I'll be spending most of my waking hours at this bank.

At least I'll be paying off my loans though. I hope I'll be able to manage without losing all my zest for life and memes.

It's actually only a hop, skip, and a jump away from where I live now. And apparently my boss wants me to go and improve the credit union's connection with "millennials," so I'll be trying to convince her to let me get paid to work on our web presence via things like YouTube.

Hopefully she says yes so I can polish up my video editing skills.

And yeah, there're cameras everywhere. Not that I mind. It's not like I'm gonna risk going to jail to steal money. But it's not a bank. It's a credit union. The difference being a bunch of really stupid things here and there, like exclusivity.

And it's gonna pay a little more than $11 for the first 3 months. Then I'll get a 40% boost once the job probationary period ends.

Well... it's the professional experience my resume so desperately needs. I figure I'll do a year of this, and then move onto something that won't require me to work ridiculous hours after.

I've been told I'll need to bust my ass working when I'm just starting out, anyway. And besides, I'll start paying off my loans, which have been hanging over my head for the last few months

I cant imagine you will be doing actual work the entire time from 7:30 to 6. Probably wont be too bad. Long days do suck though.

I'm not knocking his job or wage, I'm just saying with my responsibilities that wouldn't cover it. And those hours don't leave much room for a 2nd job.
